On June 21st, at Art House 473 in Calliste, 3 well-known artists will be opening a show centred around the theme of the sea. Jason deCaires Taylor, world reknowned for his underwater sculptures will be showing 3 brand new small, collectible sculptures as well as posters of his work. There are a limited amount of signed posters available to collect! Susan Mains will be showing her sea related paintings including sailing paintings but also new small work showing an underwater world. Asher Mains will be showing his recreated series Sea Lungs. The original series which had been stolen has been pulled out of the creative ether along with two new iterations in the series! The opening will begin at 6:30pm on Friday, June 21st, all are invited to witness Art House 473 convert into an homage to the sea!
